CCCS Board member John Pruitt (r), Atlanta Falcon legend Steve Bartkowski (c) and players from the Freddie Mac team (l) enjoy the beautiful golf course at Hawk’s Ridge. The 2007 Drive to Homeownership Golf Tournament, presented by Freddie Mac and Stewart Title, supported CCCS housing counseling programs, including foreclosure prevention counseling.

Purse Strings, a silent auction event benefiting CCCS of Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast, brought community leaders together for an evening of bidding on more than 50 designer purses. From left to right, event chair and CCCS Board member Elizabeth Arevalo, President Jessica Cecere, Co-chair Christine Pitts and event sponsor Marcie Gorman of Weight Watchers of PBC, led a committee of dedicated volunteers to make this event a smashing success! Purse Strings raised more than $25,000 to support the educational programs that help women learn to gain control of their “Purse Strings.”
